Terms of Service
How Serbisyo App works, and what we ask of customers and service partners who use it.
Not yet set up
This page describes how the app works today in plain language. It is not yet a finalized legal contract — formal terms (liability limits, governing law, and fee-change rules) are pending review by the operator. What Serbisyo App is
Serbisyo App is a community marketplace that connects people across our supported communities who need tasks done with local service partners who offer services. It is not affiliated with any government agency. The platform provides posting, bidding, messaging, and review — the work itself is arranged between you and the other member. The agreed task price is settled directly between the customer and the service partner using a payment method they agree on, such as cash, GCash, or Maya; Serbisyo App does not collect, hold, or transfer the task price.
Your responsibilities
Everyone: provide accurate information about yourself; keep your account to yourself; treat other members respectfully; keep task arrangements inside the app; and settle the agreed task price directly with the other member using a payment method you both accept.
Customers: describe your task honestly, agree a price through bids before work starts, and confirm completion when the work is done.
Service Partners: bid only on tasks you can genuinely do, complete agreed work, and request completion only when it is finished.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use Serbisyo App for fraud or scams, impersonation, harassment or threats, unlawful requests or services, or any activity that endangers other members. See the Safety and Community Guidelines.
Tasks, completion, and disputes
A task proceeds from posting and bidding to an accepted bid, the work itself, completion, and review. If the customer does not respond to a completion request within the app's confirmation window, the task can complete automatically so service partners are not left waiting.
If something goes wrong with a task, it can be raised for dispute review. The platform team looks at the record and decides each case on its facts — no particular outcome is guaranteed.
Wallet, deposits, and fees
You top up your in-app wallet by submitting a deposit request, which the platform team reviews before your balance is credited. The in-app wallet is used for the service partner's platform transaction fee — not for the task price, which the customer and the service partner settle directly.
When a task completes, the assigned service partner's wallet is charged a transaction fee: ₱10 for an agreed price up to ₱100, and ₱20 above ₱100. If the service partner's balance is short at that moment, the fee is recorded as owed and must be settled before bidding and replies unlock again.
Reporting and enforcement
Members can report concerns from any conversation or task. Reports are confidential and reviewed by the moderation team before any action. Accounts that break the rules may be limited, suspended, or banned.
No guarantees
Serbisyo App does not guarantee payment, service quality, or the outcome of any dispute. Identity verification confirms who a member is — it does not certify their skills, and platform review is not a government certification. Reviews reflect other members' experiences, not platform endorsements.
